The issue of the paying for terminal room terminals was postponed.
It was agreed that REG would have a proposal for other computers
paying their share by next meeting which is week of 20 june.

1. It was agreed desirable to reduce number of Altos to number
required for functions they do uniquely.

āˆ‚20-May-83 0116	JMC reducing number of Altos
To: su-bboards@SU-AI
It has been proposed to reduce number of Altos to those required for
services not available on other machines. What would be the reaction
to reducing them so much that Bravo was infeasible? There would be
more terminals in offices some more maintainable replacements in
the terminal rooms. Please react to JMC (chairman facilities committee)
by June 15 with cc REG@sail.

2. It was not discussed in the meeting, but several people said that
it was necessary that the committee approve csd-cf development
projects in the future in order to keep costs down.
REG agreed with this.
